Since I posted some amazing photos from Stephen's hiking in Alaska, I thought I'd counter them with the beauty of Oregon. These photos are from last summer. Wes and I are planning to pack accross the Elkhorn Crest Trail in a couple of weeks. So Soon I will have some more current photos.

Don't try to get into a scenery contest Oregon vs. Alaska. That's a game where Oregon can't hang.

This blog is about me. So I can show my own pretty pictures. I gave Alaska and you your two minutes of fame, Stephen. Heck, Todd Bowder, our sudo cusin, snatched your hiking photo from my blog and stuck it in the Ethnos newsletter. It's not a contest. Oregon and Alaska just happen to be two of the most beautiful and geographically diverse states in our country.
