1. Wore a t-shirt that his teacher told him to wear.
2. Stood on a stage with his class without being hunched over and looking sick.
3. Sang, his lips moved just like the rest of the class.
4. Did not cover his ears with his hands.
5. Used his hands to do motions to the song.
6. Did a "dance" with the rest of his class.
Wes and I were happily surprised. I am proud.

I doubt it surprised his teacher since this was his first public school performance. She doesn't know what he's done in the past. I'm sorry I didn't say anything about the performance, Ashby. I guess we didn't really invite anyone. We only found out about it Friday. There is a serious lack of communication going on in that school...
