Nice try 'Siah

A few weeks ago I took part in a 12 hour, 12 frames of film photo challenge.  I still don't know what the film photos look like.  Here is the same shot via the digital age.  This theme was "not for sale."

Polar Bears

Moments from Josiah's last day of swim class yesterday.  This is the level they call Polar Bears, they swim in the lap pool.  It's the forth level for the older kids.  His front crawl isn't quite strong enough to pass this level, but that's okay because it's much stronger than it was at the start of this sesson and he can back stroke the entire length of the pool.  Josiah is always the one closest to the wall.

Just in case you wondered

Holiday Dessert

This is my least favorite of my scavenger hunt photos.  I wanted to do something where the kids were enjoying holiday treats, and the thought of popcorn balls made me hungry.  I wish I'd done something different, but by the time I got to editing this one I was out of town and it just seemed like too much work to start from scratch.  So here are my little elves on a sugar rush.

Tradition

This past round of the photo scavenger hunt was a Christmas theme.  The albums are just being revealed today.  I did my best to hide all my images from Wes, although I think he got a few peeks, but he can finally really look at them now.  Well, one a day.  This is the first day of reveals and so this is the photo he can see today.  Which means one a day for you too, for today and for the next nine days...

A preschool class project

For the last two weeks, I've been doing mini photo sessions with Adaya's classmate.  With the help of a couple other moms we delivered this photo, framed, to each of Adaya's teachers today.  I don't think they ever gotten a gift like it before.  :o)

Berry Picking on a Sunday afternoon

Visited mom and dad after church today.  Didn't bring my camera and had to make do with mom's.  It's not the camera, it's the photographer...

Yes, Mom.  We made apple pie with the apples you brought us.
