scraping

So I wanted to post last week. But I couldn't. Just in case. Beth didn't need to know what I did all last week. After our busy/fun weekend I spent Monday and Tuesday cleaning up. Then I began to move all my tool upstairs. Time for a little scraping fun. Tuesday evening a group of friends came over and we began our project. You see, Beth is having a baby. We decorated a scrapbook for her so that she could just paste, journal, and be done. It was a good time. It's not often that I stay up past midnight. I continued to do a couple more pages on Wednesday and Thursday. Josiah even did a page. Then on Friday we kidnapped Beth's other children. They each did a page for the scrapbook and their parents got to go on a date. Beth's shower was Saturday. I think she liked the book. Maybe that's understating it a bit though.

a busy week/a great weekend

This past week has been crazy, busy. It hardly felt like there was a minute to rest. We got our taxes done, finally. We've been taking Josiah to swim lessons. We haven't been able to get Josiah onto daylight savings time, so he's still up till 9pm. I had lots of cleaning to do for this weekend. We had shopping to do for this weekend. We've just been go, go, going.

The weekend rocked. We had a Good Friday service. It was a stations of the cross deal. It rocked. People who set it up rocked. (I had a dream last night that someone screwed up the station they were creating.) Saturday we had around 25 people over to our house. I don't think this house has ever seen that much action. There were kids everywhere. It was crazy fun. We took the kids to a local egg hunt. It was a pretty nasty day for hunting eggs. Josiah got a package from his Grandparents in Eastern Oregon. It was a train with animals. He loves it. The Easter bunny came Sunday morning. She left baskets for Josiah and Wes. Why is it I never get a basket? :O) Josiah got Toby and Mavis. He's upstairs playing with them right now. Sunday we had a morning service. Josiah and I spent most of our time reading books, taking pictures, and painting. Wes did video. I'll have to listen to the message when it gets posted. We went to my parent's house after the service. Mom made a roast. They got Josiah a puzzle for Easter.

Today is Monday again. Wes had to go to work. Josiah didn't want him to go. Josiah is crabby today. I guess great weekends have to end sometime.

I lied

Tonight Justin asked if I'd taken any photos worth framing recently. I lied. I'd like to clean this one up and frame it. Josiah will grow to hate it. Especially when he starts dating. Yes, in the original you can see his cute little tiny butt.
